Do I need to protect my frame or components from abrasion?

Unfortunately, grit has a habit of working its way under straps and bags. We recommend wrapping any contact points in protective tape to protect any paintwork or surfaces from abrasion. We sell a bicycle protection kit with custom cut shapes to ensure a perfect fit for your Restrap bags.

Can I use your bags with my carbon frame/seatpost?

Of course. We recommend wrapping the contact points in protective tape to protect any paintwork and carbon parts, as sometimes grit and dirt from the road can find its way under the straps and cause abrasion over time. We sell a bicycle protection kit to keep your carbon components looking fresh.

CAN I MIX AND MATCH DRY BAGS AND SADDLE BAG HOLSTERS?

Each holster is made for its own specific dry bag. The bags are tapered at the bottom to fit perfectly in the holster, making the most of the usable space. Unfortunately, this means you cannot mix and match the dry bags between different sized holsters. If you are looking to pack light, the 14L saddle bag can be rolled down below the 14L max capacity

DO YOUR SADDLE BAGS FIT AERO SEAT POSTS?

The straps on both our CarryEverything and Race Saddle Bags are sized to accommodate the vast majority of aero seat posts.

However, our bags work best with a post with a seat post with a flat or cylindrical profile at the rear. If your seat post is teardrop shaped and/or is pointed at the rear you may find your Saddle Bag is more susceptible to wobble and sway.

CAN I USE YOUR TOP TUBE BAG WITH YOUR FRAME BAGS?

All of our bags are designed as a complete system and to be as universal as possible. It is very rare that our Top Tube Bags and Frame Bags can't be used together, however when there are issues it tends to occur on very small frames.

WILL YOUR BOLT-ON TOP TUBE BAG FIT MY BIKE?

Bike manufacturers are currently using one of two standards for top tube mount spacing, with the first bolt either sitting 80mm or 104mm back from the steerer tube.

Our Bolt-On Top Tube Bag has eyelets to accommodate both, with additional flexibility at the front for compatibility with a range of head tube angles and headsets.

WHAT RACKS WORK WITH THE RANDO BAG?

We recommend a rack with a parcel shelf that will support the entire or almost the entire base of the Rando bag. Although it will fit to a narrow rack, to get the most out of your Rando it’s a safer bet to go for a wider rack. The base dimensions of the bags are as follows:

Small: 30cm wide x 20cm deep
Large: 30cm wide x 22cm deep

HOW DO I FIT YOUR BAGS TO MY BIKE?

All our bags come with instructions in the packaging, but don’t worry if you’ve already binned that! Detailed diagrams and sizing charts can be found on our site alongside comprehensive how-to videos on fitting our bags on our YouTube channel here. ARE YOUR BAGS WATERPROOF?

All of our products are made from durable outers and linings that are 100% waterproof. All of our roll top products, for example our Panniers, Saddle Pack, Bar Pack and City Loader, are 100% fully waterproof.

However, as most of our products (the Frame Bag for example) are stitched, we cannot guarantee 100% waterproofing on these products due to water penetrating the seam in very wet conditions. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING IS OUT OF STOCK?

As all of our bike luggage is produced in-house, our stock levels are regularly replenished. On the occasion that we don’t have an item in stock it’ll be made to order. In this circumstance, expect shipping times of 7-10 working days.

I’D LIKE TO RETURN A PRODUCT

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a refund, provided it is within 30 days of receipt of your order and the item is as new and in the original packaging. Online returns are only accepted for items purchased directly from Restrap. If you purchased your item from a Restrap retail partner please contact them directly to arrange for an exchange or refund.

HOW DO I REGISTER MY RESTRAP PRODUCT FOR THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE?

To register, either scan the QR code or visit the web address that comes attached to your product. If you're having any issues doing this, give us a shout at support@restrap.com.

WHAT IS YOUR GUARANTEE?

All Restrap products carry a lifetime guarantee to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. 

Defective sewing/stitching, defective zippers, defective attachment hardware, and defective clips are covered by warranty. Reasonable wear and tear such as rips, tears, peels, broken zippers and fading are not covered as part of the warranty.

WHAT’S YOUR REPAIRS POLICY?

If you’ve had your bag for a while and it’s looking a bit tired, fear not, we can give it a new lease of life. Send an email to support@restrap.com with some photos of what needs repairing and we’ll do our best to get it sorted. Please note that items must be returned "cleaned". Items returned with loose dirt or debris will not be repaired.

WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ON SHIPPING?

Orders within the UK are sent via Royal Mail, with a usual delivery time 1-2 days from shipment. Orders within Europe are usually sent via GLS, with an expected delivery time 3-5 days from shipment. Orders outside of Europe are usually sent via Royal Mail, with an expected delivery time 5-7 days from shipment.
