When it comes to packing, there are a few items that you’ll need in almost any circumstances, no matter how lightweight you wish to travel, how long you are away for, or what the weather is likely to be. We’ve split these into categories, and tried to highlight our thinking behind the process. Nearly everything here is a “must have”, but with so many different variables to consider, you’ll have to use your own intuition.

The much loved Restrap Solstice Century is back once again!

This time round were encouraging riders to make the most of the longest days of the year over the Winter Solstice weekend of the 15th to 17th December. The challenge is to ride one 100 mile/160km ride over those days.

Each year we hit the road and get a big tour in. Over the years we have toured Croatia, Japan, the North Coast of Scotland, Spain, France and more. This allows us to shake down our kit, test it in the field and enjoy the joys of bikepacking.
